Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager with a current CPA license to lead tax engagements across a diverse client base. The ideal candidate will have strong technical tax knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities of the Tax Manager:
- Manage and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns (individual, corporate, - partnership, fiduciary)
- Lead client engagements and maintain strong client relationships
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic tax planning and consulting
- Supervise and mentor tax staff and senior associates
- Assist in business development and proposal preparation
- Ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated client solutions
Qualifications of the Tax Manager:
- CPA license or very strong experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years of public accounting experience in tax
- Strong knowledge of tax software (e.g., CCH ProSystem, GoFileRoom, BNA)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
