We are seeking a Shipping Assistant to join our team. This position is responsible for weighing, blending, molding, grinding, and processing abrasive materials to meet production specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to safely operate a variety of manufacturing equipment.

Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Payrate : $20
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately prepare and process domestic and international shipments using UPS, FedEx, and other carriers (minimum 3 years' experience required).
• Complete international shipping documentation, including Shipper's Letter of Instruction (SLI), commercial invoices, and other export forms, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Verify and match shipping documents against customer orders to maintain accuracy and prevent errors.
• Pick, pack, and label orders with strong attention to detail and adherence to company standards.
• Multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Track and confirm shipment status, proactively resolving issues or delays with carriers.
• Maintain organized shipping/receiving records for audit and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to meet shipping deadlines and customer requirements.
• Follow step-by-step shipping procedures precisely, demonstrating the ability to listen, remember, and repeat tasks consistently.
• Inspect outgoing shipments to verify quality, quantity, and packaging compliance.
• Operate shipping software, warehouse scanners, and basic material handling equipment safely.
• Support process improvements in the shipping department with an interest in leadership development.
• Demonstrate initiative, reliability, and a strong work ethic with the goal of advancing into a Shipping Supervisor role.
Physical Requirements
• Able to stand and or work for extended periods of time on-site
• Able to lift, carry, push, or pull a minimum of 50 pounds throughout the workday
• Able to tolerate repetitive motion of bending and twisting
• Able to tolerate repetitive hand, arm, and shoulder motion
