We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our periodontal office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental hygiene practices and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. This position requires maintaining high standards of infection control and patient assessment.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal treatments for patients.
• Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history reviews.
• Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene practices and periodontal health.
• Maintain accurate medical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols in all procedures.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and comfort.
• Stay updated on dental terminology, medical coding, and documentation review processes.

Qualifications

• Valid RDH license with at least 4 years of experience (perio experience a plus).
• Familiarity with medical imaging and anatomy knowledge relevant to dental hygiene.
• Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
