Location: Mercedes-Benz of Riverside – Riverside, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour (DOE)

Position Overview

As a Technician Trainee at the Mercedes-Benz Van Center , you will learn and develop the skills needed to become a certified Mercedes-Benz technician. This entry-level position is designed for motivated individuals eager to begin a career in automotive service. You will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities for advancement while assisting experienced technicians in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing Mercedes-Benz vans.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with routine maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs on Mercedes-Benz vans.
• Learn and apply manufacturer-recommended repair procedures and diagnostic processes.
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and other entry-level maintenance tasks.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Accurately document services performed and parts used.
• Follow all safety and compliance protocols in the shop.
• Actively participate in training and development programs provided by Mercedes-Benz and Walter’s Auto Group.
• Deliver excellent customer service by supporting the Service Department’s goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or automotive trade school experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions carefully.
• Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Range: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
