Management Company Controller (Onsite, Boston) A successful private credit firm in Boston, is actively seeking a 7-12+ year professional to join their team as a Management Company Controller. This person is ideally coming out of a fund environment but specializing in the management company side of the business. This is an onsite role in Boston that is offering up to 210K base, plus bonus. Responsibilities and Qualifications: Oversee all aspects of the management company’s financial operations, including month-end close, general ledger, and financial statement preparation Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in coordination with senior leadership Supervise payroll, employee reimbursements, benefits accounting, and compensation allocations Lead treasury management, including cash flow forecasting, capital planning, and liquidity analysis Coordinate with tax advisors on preparation of management company and partner-level tax filings Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory reporting requirements Partner closely with fund accounting, legal, HR, and investor relations teams to ensure smooth cross-functional operations Must be willing to work fully onsite 5X a week 7-12+ years of relevant corporate accounting/management company accounting experience Must be coming out of a fund or a financial services environment Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required This is a full-time opportunity that is offering a strong compensation package, up to $210K base, plus 25% bonus.
