Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled part-time dental hygienist to join our team with highly competitive wages for the Upper Valley. We have the latest dental technology, appreciative doctors who encourage professional development, an enthusiastic team, and wonderful patients. Our hygiene equipment and instruments are well-maintained, and our hand instruments are sent out on a routine basis to be professionally sharpened.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and dental procedures, with a focus on providing exceptional service in a friendly and professional environment. As a dental hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and ensuring the comfort of our patients.

*Pay is based on experience starting from $58.00/hr*

Flexible days & hours available: Monday-Wednesday and/or Friday 7:30am-4pm

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Assist the dentist during examinations.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding practices.

Experience

• Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Dentrix software is advantageous.
• A solid understanding of dental terminology, infection control measures, and patient care protocols is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $58.00 - $63.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
