This includes managing strategic objectives that enhance value across the enterprise, such as resident relations, operational effectiveness, partnership development, and professional development. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that resident initiatives align with strategic goals, supporting the implementation of AI in operations, and maintaining an active presence in advocacy for the company's interests. Additionally, the CoS will be involved in professional development and succession planning, as well as managing complex financial and real estate transactions. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree strongly preferred, in a relevant field. A minimum of 15 years' experience in a strategic leadership role, with a budget authority of at least $10M, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in nonprofit operations, particularly in areas related to HUD and Housing Choice Voucher program funding, and demonstrate exceptional financial acumen. The role demands a leader with strong organizational, social-emotional, and program management skills, including the ability to influence policy and advocate for the company's interests. The CoS must also embody the company's values, with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a strong moral compass in ethical conduct.
