About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead the daily operations and coordination of its primary and behavioral health care services. The CMO will be responsible for a role that is approximately 60% clinical and 40% administrative, with a focus on supervising and supporting the medical staff to ensure the delivery of quality care to patients. This includes implementing effective leadership and management strategies to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of primary care, as well as overseeing continuous quality improvement and protocol development. Key responsibilities for the CMO at the company include supervising and providing performance evaluations for various clinical and administrative staff, guiding patient care teams in a team-based model of care, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations. The CMO will also serve as a liaison between the health centers and senior management, maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders, and participate in administrative and management meetings. Additionally, the role involves assisting in data collection, program evaluation, and clinical assessments, as well as promoting a culture of safety and quality through the consistent implementation of standards, protocols, and procedures.
