We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various automotive tools and equipment. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition while ensuring customer satisfaction.

*Duties*

* Work directly with our Parts manager to fully disassemble a vehicle that's been damaged and confirm all damaged parts are reported.
* Perform auto body repairs including dent removal and panel replacement.
* Utilize MIG welding techniques and Techna spot welding for repairs and fabrication of metal components.
* Use hand tools and power tools for repairs and replacement of damaged parts.
* Be very thorough with repairs to make sure repairs are completed properly and to OEM procedures.
* Replace auto glass as required by the job specifications.
* Lift heavy materials and components safely while adhering to safety protocols in the workshop environment.

*Requirements*

* Previous auto body repair experience.
* Proficiency in MIG welding, fabrication, soldering, and sheet metal work is essential.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair .
* Familiarity with detailing techniques and auto painting processes is a plus.
* Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and automotive equipment safely and effectively.
* Experience in heavy lifting as required by the demands of the job.
* Excellent communication skills with management on job status.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
